Some adverse effects table salt may have on your body, have been highlighted on our Instagram feed @bodygamesa

Clinical studies done between ordinary table salt and Himalayan Salt have proven that Himalayan Salt is the better option.

The University of Graz, Austria, in 2001, did a study of which the findings can be read in “Water&Salt, The Essence of Life.” A further study was performed by FENESTRA RESEARCH LABS the “2007 FENESTRA LABS STUDY OVERVIEW” gave their “CONCLUSION: Original Himalayan Crystal Salt®, aka PSYMPHONY™, was shown to be a highly effective product for the normalizing of mineralization in the human body. It has also shown to be effective in helping to stabilize pH and Oxidative Stress numbers in the human body. Hydration indicators showed an average of ten percent increase over the course of this study.
Neither Original Himalayan Crystal Salt®, aka PSYMPHONY™, nor its ingredients, have shown any known adverse side effects or organ system involvement, contraindications, or interactions with any food or drug, allowing the product to be used for extended periods of time. The time course and strength of its effects make it a viable alternative to common sea salt.”

As you may well know Himalayan salt is mined. About 200 million years ago, sea salt beds were crystallized, covered with lava. It was protected from modern day pollution and preserved in an untouched, pristine environment, due to it subsequently being enveloped in snow and ice for millennia. The Himalayan mountain range goes across Asia, and passes through China, Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and India.

Himalayan Salt contains the same 84+ trace minerals and elements that are found in the human body. Himalayan Salt has less sodium per serving because the crystals or flakes take up less room than the highly processed table salt variety. Because of its unique cellular structure, it stores vibrational energy. The minerals in this salt exist in colloidal form, which means that they are small enough for our cells to easily absorb.

Himalayan Salt contains the minerals that are necessary for your health, including macro minerals and trace minerals. The macro minerals are needed in relative abundance and include calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and sodium. The ionic salt and trace minerals nourish each cell in your body.

The trace minerals are as follows: actinium, aluminium, antimony, arsenic, astatine, barium, beryllium, bismuth, boron, bromine, cadmium, calcium, carbon, cerium, cesium, chlorine, chromium, cobalt, copper, dysprosium, erbium, europium, fluorine, francium, gadolinium, gallium, germanium, gold, hafnium, holmium, hydrogen, indium, iodine, iridium, iron, lanthanum, lead, lithium, lutetium, magnesium, manganese, mercury, molybdenum, neodymium, neptunium, nickel, niobium, nitrogen, osmium, oxygen, palladium, phosphorus, platinum, plutonium, polonium, potassium, praseodymium, protactinium, radium, rhenium, rhodium, rubidium, ruthenium, samarium, scandium, selenium, silicon, silver, sodium, strontium, sulphur, tantalum, tellurium, terbium, thallium, thorium, thulium, tin, titanium, uranium, vanadium, wolfram, yttrium, ytterbium, zinc and zirconium.

Benefits by consuming Himalayan Salt with your food as an alternative to table salt include:
• Supports respiratory function & healthy lungs
• Detoxifies the body of heavy metals
• Aids in vascular health
• Promotes a stable pH balance within the cells
